Position Summary
The Nursing Aide is a vital member of our care team, responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities and providing support to licensed nursing staff. Evening shift aides ensure continuity of care during transitions and maintain a calm, supportive presence throughout the evening hours.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Support: Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility

Monitoring: Observe patients and report changes in physical or emotional condition to the nursing team

Environment: Maintain cleanliness and order in patient rooms and nursing areas

Documentation: Record vital signs, intake/output, and other basic information as required

Assistance: Support nursing staff during treatments, transport of patients, and emergency responses

Companionship: Offer reassurance, compassion, and emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required

Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred; training assistance may be available for the right candidate

Experience: Prior experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred

Skills: Reliable, compassionate, and capable of working well within a team

Environment: Hospital inpatient setting with frequent patient contact

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, turn, and assist patients; stand or walk for extended periods

Schedule: Full-time evening shift with rotating weekends and holidays
