Radiologic Technologist

Location: Lackey Memorial Hospital, Forest, Mississippi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Night

Job Summary

• Provide health care services by applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to demonstrate images for interpretation by and at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Perform radiology exams with little to no assistance
• Provide appropriate patient care with successful completion of the procedure
• Provide patient care/services for all stages of life including pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics

Summary of essential job functions:

• Able to adequately perform all radiology exams
• Ensure radiation safety/protection guidelines are followed
• Provide appropriate patient care
• Communicate and carry out physician/ radiologist requests
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Adhere to company policy

Minimum Level Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography OR Registry Eligible
• Current license with the Mississippi State Department of Health OR current temp license
• Current CPR certification

Physical Demands:

• Walking and/or Standing for long periods of time
• Lifting/moving patients
• Pushing/pulling/lifting
