Job Summary
- Provide health care services by applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to demonstrate images for interpretation by and at the request of a licensed practitioner
- Perform radiology exams with little to no assistance
- Provide appropriate patient care with successful completion of the procedure
- Provide patient care/services for all stages of life including pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics
Summary of essential job functions:
- Able to adequately perform all radiology exams
- Ensure radiation safety/protection guidelines are followed
- Provide appropriate patient care
- Communicate and carry out physician/ radiologist requests
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to company policy
Minimum Level Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography OR Registry Eligible
- Current license with the Mississippi State Department of Health OR current temp license
- Current CPR certification
Physical Demands:
- Walking and/or Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting/moving patients
- Pushing/pulling/lifting
